The SATEC Legacy

A history of excellence

Where Power Quality and Scientific Accuracy meet Human Commitment

When Prof. Branover founded SATEC in 1987, his vision extended beyond building a profitable business and advancing power analysis. He also wanted to create employment opportunities for the wave of immigrants expected to arrive in Israel from the former Soviet Union in the early 1990s, many of whom were highly educated engineers.

As an immigrant himself and a renowned professor of physics, Prof. Branover understood the importance of providing a supportive and professionally suitable working environment. But his goal went beyond promoting a social initiative. He also wanted to demonstrate that this approach could deliver real business value and contribute to the company’s success.

Throughout its development, SATEC has remained an active part of the community, continually opening its doors to the public.

This commitment takes many forms, including school visits, meetings with community leaders, summer employment opportunities for high school students, and long-term employment for people with disabilities.

At SATEC, we believe that we gain as much from these interactions as the wider community does.

Thirty-eight years later, SATEC has become everything Prof. Branover envisioned—and much more. The company became a professional home and a close-knit community for many of those immigrants, while benefiting enormously from their expertise. Together, they developed and implemented innovative ideas in power measurement and telemetry, helping establish SATEC as a global leader in the field.
